Encrypted Email Services are freely provided for all our registered family members on the domain @maduro.net (and @maduro.biz)

Below a list of the specifications of our encrypted email services:

• Our incoming mail server accepts email encrypted via TLS if the sending server supports this. This will guarantee that mail in transit can not be snooped upon.
• We can forward your @maduro.net email towards any other address. Like for example your current Internet provider or even Gmail/Yahoo/Hotmail/Live/Outlook. Forwarding of mail will be done encrypted using TLS if the accepting mail server supports this. This will guarantee that mail in transit can not be snooped upon.
• If you want your email data to reside in an EU data center, we can provide you with an IMAP box that can be accessed via IMAPS (secure IMAP)
• The size of an IMAPS email box with us is limited to 512MB in special cases we will increase this quota when needed.
• The secure webmail service is based on the open source package Roundcube. Access to it is provided over https so you can access your mail anywhere in the world securely.
• Strong GnuPG encryption is supported by our Roundcube webmail server.  You can sign and send your email messages securely with your GnuPG key from the webmail client. Importing, exporting  and basic key management is supported in the webmail client.

You will have to use your own SMTP outgoing mail server provided by your access provider, or use our Roundcube webmail service. In special cases we can provide you with a secure SMTP server but these specific requests come at a cost.
